SimPortal is an attempt at a developer environment for OpenSees. It allows:
  • Storage and management of scripts and data files for simulaitons
  • Model building assistance for visualizing structure model in the script
  • Remote job submission and monitoring

SimPortal Web Version

Logon to SimPortal web version. You would need a NEESCentral account and a browser with Java and Java3D plugins.

SimPortal Standalone

An alpha release of the standalone version that runs OpenSees already installed on your desktop can be downloaded from NEESForge

Sept 05, 2008 SimPortal Web Version Beta now available. Just Logon to SimPortal.

Oct 14, 2008 Preliminary support for teragrid added. Logon to simportal and select a configuration under tg-login before you submit.
